Experience chill out nights at the Weekend Gastro Fair

Starting on the month of June 2018, The District North Point in Talisay City, Negros Occidental will host a vibrant Gastro Fair every last weekend of the month.

Chilling at The District North Point

The District North Point is known as a lifestyle mall, bordering on the northernmost part of Bacolod City. And this time, they bring you the month-end, three-night Weekend Gastro Fair. For their maiden event, the fair started on June 29 and ended on July 1, 2018.

The Gastro Fair is held at the tented corte area and lined with food stalls that will surely make your eyes pop and your mouth water. They have a pretty good selection, some from Bacolod homegrown restaurants. They have anything from Japanese food to our favorite grilled and other Pinoy dishes.

And of course, our old-time favorite, Bacolod chicken inasal, would never be absent.

I think the only one missing from our usual TDNP exhibitor is Das Burgery.

Acoustic and Trivia Night

You can enjoy your food there and be entertained by different acoustic groups. This is actually a contest where winners can go home with cash prizes and gift certificates.

Meanwhile, there is also a trivia night where friends can form groups and join in the game. Prizes also await the winner.

It is a really fun and wholesome weekend get-together among foodies, artists, and music lovers.

We stayed there a bit and bought our food for takeout. Of course, we always do not miss the shawarma rice of Shawarma Habibi wherever they have an exhibit. We also tried the fried chicken with pesto sauce from Grillio Restaurant. Plus we also had pork sisig and linabog na alimusan from Waway’s. We had a full dinner at home from the takeout food we bought.
