Victory Christian Fellowship Silay Launched

Honor God. Make Disciples.

That’s the battle cry of Victory (Victory Christian Fellowship) all over the world. And with that same intent, Victory in Silay City, Negros Occidental was born.

A small group of people started the fellowship in Silay at the Richmond Inn several months back under Ptr. Jason Ferrer, but it was not until last October 26, 2014 that the Victory Silay was formally launched. Attended by the leaders here in Bacolod headed by Ptr. Ryan Gidor as well as family and friends, it was indeed a blessed time.

It was revealed during this time that the fund raising target that will enable Victory Silay to have its own center has been reached already and everyone just praised the Lord for that. They are just waiting for the documents to be finalized so that the renovation of the new center may commence. Victory Silay center will soon be housed at the 2nd Floor of the APSSI Bldg. (above Producers Bank), Rizal Street, Silay City. Ptr. Jason said that that they are looking at the second week of January for this new move to a bigger and better facility for the church.

The launching was made memorable because the guest speaker that afternoon was Ptr. Luther Mancao, the teacher-mentor of Ptr. Jason while he was studying in Manila.

In the meantime, Victory Silay continues to meet at the Richmond Hotel (going to the Silay airport) every Sunday, 4pm. Kids’ Church meets at the same time in a separate function room. They also have VGroups and mentoring sessions going on for different age groups (couples, singles, wives, or students). If you live in Silay City, do visit them and find out what they can do for you.
