A QualiTea Love Story

I know it’s no longer Valentine’s Day, but for this Bacolod couple, the celebration of love happened and continues in this Bacolod restaurant.

Sometimes, love catches us in unexpected times and places. In a lot of instances, it happens at the season in your life when you least expected it.

This Bacolod couple wouldn’t have known that it is their love for milk tea that will lead them to each other’s arms. That is because, it was at QualiTea when they first met.

QualiTea is the sister company of Shawarma Habibi — one of the more famous shawarma restaurants here in Bacolod City.

Both QualiTea and Shawarma Habibi shared the same location and it is one of the Bacolod restaurants frequented by many people, especially students, because of their affordable food and of course, yummy milk teas. Hubby and I both love their shawarma wraps and shawarma rice and their wintermelon rock salt milk tea. Hmmmm… After all, they are “Bacolod’s Yummiest Milk Tea.”

May Forever sa Milktea

But for this Bacolod couple, QualiTea is most memorable because it is where they found love. They first met at QualiTea Mayfair Plaza branch and kept having dates there. Until finally, it was time to seal the love for life long commitment.

So last February 22, 2018, like their usual practice after work, the couple went to QualiTea for two tall glasses of their favorite milk teas. But that night wasn’t the usual, because the guy has prepared something for his lady.

After they ordered, they settled on a corner table and there he popped the very difficult, life-changing question, which was met by a teary-eyed YES!

Since they met at QualiTea, the guy probably thought that it is also the best place to ask his girl to marry him. Awww how sweet! Our fair lady never suspected it.

Oh we really do love our love stories! And QualiTea is just so happy to be part of this Bacolod couple’s magical time, when, for but a fleeting moment, the world stopped for two hearts in love. The staff and even the owner were ecstatic, as they took photos and videos. They also played the Marry Me song by Jason Derulo to set the mood. It was all so cute. No frills, just pure love.

We wish the couple well in this new journey that they are going to take as man and wife.
