Make Your Own Havaianas 2015 – Now on its 10th Year – MYOH2015

Make Your Own Havaianas is an exciting annual event at Havaianas Philippines. But this year is more exciting because MYOH2015 marks the 10th year of this Havaianatico event. In Bacolod, the event is being held at the All Flip Flops store at the ground floor of SM City Bacolod north wing, from May 7 to 10, 2015, just in time for Mother’s Day 2015.

I am so happy to take part of this exciting activity on the first day of the event. The Hawaiian-inspired flip flops party allowed me to enjoy myself while picking my pair. I chose the commemorative tropical-inspired sole, hot pink straps, a Mandala pin, and a sparkly silver dolphin with white stones. While waiting for my pair to be done, I lounged at the specially set up area complete with floral and native trimmings while sipping some iced cold drink. It was a lovely time to unwind, after all, I am always busy and harried. Ahhh…a masseuse undoing the knots on my shoulders and legs would have made the afternoon complete. haha But that would be asking too much already.

Anyway, here is how the MYOH2015 process goes. A customer goes to the selection wheel in order to mix and match the soles, straps, and pins. A store rep will help you pick out your sizes and fill up your order form. Your pair(s) will then be brought to the assembly line in order to be put together. Then you pay for your purchase and you get it in a nice net bag, too.

MYOH2015 will end on May 10, 2015 in key cities all over the country. This is a simultaneous event.
