Miss Kyla Rose Romarate of Victorias City is Lin-ay sang Negros 2024! Pageant night was held April 19, 2024 at the Panaad sa Negros Park and Stadium in Bacolod City, drawing in thousands of supporters and millions of views worldwide on the LIVE broadcast.
Lin-ay Sang Negros 2024 and Her Court
Romarate is a third-year veterinary medicine student who has animal welfare as her advocacy. She was crowned as Lin-ay sang Negros in this year’s 28th Panaad sa Negros Festival, besting 28 other candidates.
Moreover, she went home with the major awards for Best in Festival Costume for the City Seal Category and Best in Evening Gown. Earlier this month, she was also chosen as Muse of the Media at an event at the Ayala Malls Capitol Central.
Romarate took home the crown, P80,000 cash prize, and a full scholarship grant from the provincial government of Negros Occidental.
Zoe Clarisse Limson of the Municipality of Cauayan was the first runner-up. She bagged eight corporate and minor awards, including the Best in Swimwear and Darling of Social Media Awards.

In a Facebook post, Victorias City Mayor Javi Benitez lauded Romarate for her achievement.
“You were beautiful, eloquent, and passionate beyond doubt throughout the entire competition and you delivered on when it was needed most. I know how hard you and your team have worked for this,” Benitez said. “My humble hope for you is to never lose your grace and to always stay authentic.”
