At my age, I am still inclined to prefer romantic comedy movies. But the only Tagalog rom-com film that I have followed is the series starring John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo.
I just so love their tandem, they have such reel chemistry that makes me want to see more of them. They are cute-kilig together. Direk Cathy Garcia-Molina says that it could be because the actors have so much respect and mutual admiration for each other that it is clearly seen in their work. And I also guess that it is because Sarah has such a sweet countenance, unlike the strong appeal of Toni Gonzaga.
Anyway, I am excited with the new sequel, It Takes a Man and a Woman. It is now showing in your favorite theaters. Direk Cathy said that it is such a gamble for them to make Sarah’s character, Laida Magtalas, a more feisty and modern one but they are thankful at the people’s acceptance. While Sarah has kind of leveled up here, I still think that she is so sweet–the kind of goody-girl image that she projects. Waaaaa I wanna watch and I can’t wait to be kilig!
Newcomer Isabelle Daza, daughter of beauty queen Gloria Diaz, plays the third party in the love triangle. Oooppps that much I can say. haha But one thing that I want to say, I think she brings glamor to the movie. Nice! I am going to watch this. hihi
