Hubby and I are really into sandwich wraps. They are so tasty, filling, but not heavy on the stomach. And that is the reason why we are such shawarma eaters, too.
The BCC Chicken Wraps
Based on its name, the main ingredient of these sandwich wraps is lean chicken meat (except for one). These chicken wraps are big, so when served, they are sliced into two. It’s like having two pieces of fresh lumpia on your plate.
What a filling snack or even a complete meal for that matter.
Four Flavors
The BCC Chicken Wraps comes in four variants. There is the spicy Buffalo Wings, Rainbow Salad, California, and Southwestern.
Buffalo wings has chicken, sliced onions, lettce, tomato, and celery with ranch dressing and hot sauce. You may request for additional spicy sauce, if desired.
The rainbow salad has boiled chicken, carrots, singkamas (jicama), parsley, cream cheese, and spinach with garlic mayo sauce. The California variant has boiled chicken, lettuce, bacon, spinach, tomato, and avocado with ranch dressing.
And lastly, the Southwestern has boiled chicken, spinach, black beans, tomato, red onion, and avocado with garlic mayo sauce. All the sandwiches are made healthy because they are wrapped in their freshly made flat wheat bread.
So Affordable
If you think this is expensive, then that’s where you are wrong. A chicken wrap meal (which is a big sandwich cut into two) with a big glass of iced tea is only P1060.
You can have it for snack or a light and healthy dinner. It is perfect for those who are watching their diet and those who just want to eat healthy.
What We Like
I prefer Southwestern because I find it most interesting with its avocado and black beans components. It has a mildly exotic taste, especially when smothered with garlic mayo.
On the other hand, hubby prefers the California and the spicy Buffalo wings. Well, I think that tastes differ, but these are all sooo good. A must-try!
