I have been a subscriber of Smart Communications for my postpaid mobile phone service for several years now. Every 1 year and a half, I get a free phone and this time, the freebie is a Nokia E63 phone for my Plan 1200.
I renewed my subscription last June 23, 2009 yet, however, due probably to the nice features of the phone, particularly the Wi-Fi, which I like, this unit is in demand among Smart subscribers. And so, I was informed that it is only available starting today.
Anyway, when I visited the Smart Business Center at the SM City Bacolod last June 23, I was entertained by a lady at the customer service. She was nice, but well, not too enthusiastic, but which was understandable as it was nearing lunchtime when I visited the branch and she was probably already hungry. She then gave me the mobile number of RJ, of Smart Communications Business Center at Robinsons Place Bacolod.
Well, to say the least, I followed up my free phone by text every week with RJ. He was very prompt with his reply and he was very friendly. And since he needed some documents from me, we got to talk on the phone, and he was very nice. He didn’t sound like a robot, which is common among call center agents.
Anyway, I just want to say kudos (like in call centers) to RJ for a job well done and it is good for Smart to have him on board. I just wish all those manning customer service counters are as friendly and helpful as him.
