However, there are days when we don’t want to go out. It’s either we are too tired to dress up, don’t want to socialize with other people, or it’s raining. And having kids can be a production number when we have to eat out. We have to prepare so many stuff for them, like coloring books and toys.

One of our favorite dishes in Bacolod is sizzling bulalo. We like the bulalo as well as cansi soup, but we usually associate it with lunch. For dinner, we would rather have the sizzling version of this beef dish smothered in gravy. The meat is tender and very flavorful. Hubby and I totally love everything — the meaty part, the cartilage and tendons. We also mix the gravy with our rice!
We like the one at Recados, but sometimes, we don’t like to go to the East Area, especially when the weather is bad. But now, it is available through GrabFood. It’s just awesome that if we just want to have the sizzling bulalo, we can order it online and eat it with the rice that we cooked at home. It’s the same price in the restaurant, too. There is no top up with GrabFood.
Even with the delivery fee, we still get to save money and enjoy our favorite sizzling bulalo comfortably in our own dining room. Yum!
How to Enjoy Food Delivery from Bacolod Restaurants
Ordering food from GrabFood is actually very easy. Foremost, you don’t have to download a separate app. When you open your Grab app, you will already find the Food option. Just click it to get started.
Step 1: Launch the GrabFood app.
Step 2: Browse through the list of Bacolod restaurants or just input the name of the restaurant on the search bar. A list choices will be revealed.
Step 3: You will find the menu of the restaurant that you have chosen. In our case, that would be Recados, located at Villa Angela Marketplace.
Step 4: Search for the dish(es) you want to order.
Step 5: Click on that dish. For Sizzling Bulalo, you can actually choose the size. For example, we ordered 1 single serving of the Sizzling Bulalo priced at P270. These are screenshots from the actual GrabFood app.
Step 7: You will be brought to the summary of your order, which includes the delivery fee. You can choose to add items or to proceed to the next step.
Step 8: Grab as well as GrabFood has some occasional promos. Remember to input the promo code so that you can get discounts on your food order. Choose your payment option and confirm your order.
Step 9: Prepare your money, set up the table, and wait for your meal. So simple.
Tracking Your Order
After clicking the “PLACE ORDER” button, your order will be processed. Then here is where you wait. You may be asked to give details about your delivery address. And if you have tried booking a ride with Grab, it is almost the same after placing your order.
While waiting for your food, you can chat with your rider to give him additional info. But he may not answer as he may be riding his motorcycle already. Or you can track the progress of the order. Is their a rider that will pick it up? Is the driver on the way to your location? You can see these in the tracking page.
