The much-awaited Negros Power takeover of our current distribution utility is getting very near. If you remember, electricity consumers of Bacolod City and Central Negros agreed to the JVA between Negros Power and CENECO last year in the hopes of experiencing better power distribution. Thankfully, the Negros Power franchise has been approved both in Congress and Senate. One more signature and they are good to go. Meanwhile, the company is already laying the groundwork for the anticipated first day.
Getting Help from MORE Power
MORE Power is the sister company of Negros Power. It is the current distribution utility in Iloilo City that is making waves because of its groundbreaking achievements, including low electricity rates.
This time, MORE Power augmented and supported the upcoming operation of Negros Power here in Central Negros. They sent a fleet of vehicles and their personnel’s expertise and capabilities to prepare for the operations in the franchise area.
Both the MORE Power and Negros Power teams will work hand in hand, sharing best practices and providing training to ensure a seamless response to the consumers’ concerns.
They are more than ready to serve Central Negros with reliable power distribution!
