Once again, the Association of Negros Producers (ANP) of Negros Occidental will proudly showcase Negros-made products to the world. After the 2-year hiatus, they are back with more items and new innovations for the bigger and better 37th Negros Trade Fair. It will be held at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City from September 26 to October 1, 2023.

What to Expect at the 37th Negros Trade Fair
The Negros Trade Fair is the country’s longest-running provincial trade fair hosted in Metro Manila that provides a platform for micro, small, and medium enterprises to expand their individual markets. It also gives them endless opportunities for product export and trade.
As part of the kick-off activity for the 37th Negros Trade Fair, the ANP led by President Arlene Infante of Azatri Souvenirs launched the 30th Bulawan Awards and 1st Pilak Awards Competition and Trade Fair last July.
Through the Bulawan Awards, the member-producers showcased their ingenuity through products that reflect excellence in craftsmanship. Divided into different categories based on their product lines, the members were provided an incentive in order to encourage ingenuity, creativity, and commitment to product development.
Meanwhile, the maiden Pilak Awards was given by the Provincial Administrator’s Office and its division, the Technology and Livelihood Development Center (TLDC), in partnership with the ANP. It recognized provincial government-assisted MSMEs that produce or create and innovate Negros food products.
Amuma
For the 37th Negros Trade Fair, the theme is “Amuma” and it is interpreted in a logo conceptualized and created by artist Stephanie Hilado-Lindaya. “Her artwork aims to encapsulate the rich tapestry of Negrense culture, celebrating the boundless generosity, warm hospitality, and open-heartedness that define Negrenses,” the ANP said.
“For me, this is what the Negros Trade Fair is all about. A celebration of the Negrense art and spirit, an expression of our boundless generosity and warm embrace,” Hilado-Lindaya said.
This year will be bigger because the ANP will be joined by LGU-based MSMEs.
Bacolod Launch
The 37th Negros Trade Fair Exhibitors’ Briefing and Media launch was held last August 23, at the Negros Occidental Provincial Capitol in Bacolod City.
Attended by Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio “Bong” Lacson, he said that “AMUMA” seeks to encapsulate the essence of Negrense culture by accentuating its generosity, welcoming spirit, and open-heartedness. It also stands as a tribute to the Negrense culture of charity, hospitality, and warmth, he adds.
Producers are once again excited to showcase their products in Manila in this annual event, not just to bring in sales but to open more doors of opportunities for them.
Food and More
Negros food products are the top sellers of every NTF because Negrenses in Manila totally miss local delicacies and hoard them. In the same way, people from Luzon have also taken a liking to our food products, especially piaya, pastries, and even Felicia’s ensaymada and cookies.
Among the local brands that are joining are El Ideal Bakery of Silay City, Quan Native Delicacies of Bacolod, Clara’s Goat’s Milk Barquillos, Hon’s Pastries, Sugarlandia Barquillos, and ELG Gourmet Foods. Ading’s Gourmet Tuyo, Ereneta-Manaloto Chorizo, and Shienah’s Peanuts, a breakthrough producer, will also be there.
Aside from food, there are fashion items like clothes and bags, as well as accessories, like those by Chiev’s. There will be home decor, housewares, lighting fixtures, and even furniture from brands like Tumandok Crafts, Haciendra Crafts, and Handmade Gallery.
