Bacolod Real Estate News
Whenever property giant Megaworld has news, I get excited. That is because, their news is always something novel, big, and luxurious that’s surely going to elevate the Bacolod lifestyle to another level. Take for example the world-class tourist strip at Northill Gateway.
And indeed, Megaworld did not disappoint, as they launched Two Regis to the media and Bacolod bloggers. The big announcement was made during a tastefully arranged press conference held at Stonehill Suites.
Two Regis: Lux Bacolod Condominium
Two Regis is a 14-storey residential tower that will set the bar for condominium living in Bacolod City. It will be built at the corner of Regis and Madison Streets within The Upper East — the 34-hectare township in the eastern part of the city. Click this for a Bacolod City Guide.
Megaworld announced this second Bacolod residential condominium development inside The Upper East, just six months after they launched the first residential tower. That’s because One Regis was sold out after only a few months. Whew! Real estate developments in Bacolod are selling out so fast!

Features of Two Regis
Two Regis will offer units ranging from Studio (up to 31.5 square meters); Executive Studio (up to 37.5 square meters); One-Bedroom (up to 43.5 square meters), and Two-Bedroom (up to 87 square meters). Several available units will have their own balcony, overlooking the transforming landscapes of the township.
Additionally, it will be strategically located beside the proposed Megaworld Lifestyle Mall within the township.
Amenities
Aside from the Skygardens, Two Regis will feature first-class amenities at the 2nd level. These included a lap pool, kiddie pool, fitness center, daycare center, as well as function rooms.
Furthermore, each unit will have a semi-furnished kitchen, with modular overhead and under-counter cabinets, and its own electric burner cooktop with range hood.
Skygardens
A key feature of the residential tower will be the three Skygardens. Two of these will be located on the 12th level, also known as the Lower Sky Suites Floor. Meanwhile, another one will be placed at the center of the 8th level, also known as the Garden Suites Floor.
Among all the features, I really love the skygardens the most. I am for infrastructure developments in the city but I am also a proponent for a Greener Bacolod. I believe that Bacolod Needs More Plants and Trees for a fresher, cooler, and healthier environment. Living on the third floor of a commercial building, I maintain two small gardens and these have been beneficial to our overall wellness.
For Leisure
The penthouse floor, also called the Upper Sky Suites Floor, will offer units in varying size options. It will also have unparalleled views of the sunrise from the Negros Mountain Ranges and the sunset along Guimaras Strait.
Bacolod Condo Living
“The overwhelming success of our first residential tower is a clear indication that Bacolod has embraced the convenience of both condo living and township living,” Rachelle Peñaflorida, vice president for sales and marketing of Megaworld Bacolod said.

“The master planned township concept that we are bringing to Bacolod makes Megaworld different as a condominium developer. We are happy to pioneer this concept in Negros,” she adds.
Double Time
Peñaflorida also disclosed that Megaworld is fast-tracking the other developments inside The Upper East. “Future residents will be able to enjoy the mall, the parks, the luxury boutique hotel, and the other components of the township once they start living in the condo,” she assures.
“We’ve promised Bacolod with a first-class township, and we expect things to rise in the next three to five years,” furthers Peñaflorida.
The land development of the township has already started late last year. Pipe-laying of underground utility lines, as well as sewerage and drainage facilities, have also commenced.
The company is scheduled to start the construction of the Lopue’s Annex Mall inside the township this year. This will pave the way for the construction of the six-lane Upper East Avenue leading to the Circumferential Road.
Booming Bacolod
Two Regis is expected to be completed in 2023. With that, Megaworld is expected to generate around P1.5-billion in sales from this new residential tower.
