The first of its kind in the investment market, the Sun Life Prosperity Card aims to help Filipino conveniently grow their hard-earned money.
What is the Sun Life Prosperity Card?
The Sun Life Prosperity Card is a gift card that is worth P5,000 each. Anyone can buy the cards and use them as gifts for any special occasion–birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, even employers to their staff. The recipient can then visit the Sun Life or log on online and use the amount in the card to invest in any of the six mutual funds managed by SLAMCI.
“As Filipinos, we follow many of the Chinese New Year traditions that are believed to bring in luck and fortune. SLAMCI encourages everyone to complement these traditions with action, with the help of the Sun Life Prosperity Card,” SLAMCI President Valerie Pama. She pointed out that the card can be used by recipients to start their investing journey with Sun Life. It can be given as a gift of prosperity that grows in value over time, she adds.
It is important to note that the recipients cannot use the contents of the card to purchase anything. They can only invest it in Sun Life, so the giver is sure that the gift will rightfully go to where it belongs–as a Sun Life investment.
Matteo Guidicelli for Sun Life Prosperity Card
Popular young actor Matteo Guidicelli is the new Sun Life ambassador for SLAMCI’s financial literacy. With him as the spokesperson, Sun Life hopes to make investing less intimidating and to encourage more of the young professionals to invest their money in the right place.
Matteo says, “I am proud to be part of this campaign because I understand the importance of investing for the future and the value of financial freedom.” He adds that the Sun Life Prosperity Card is easy to purchase and activate.
What’s More from SLAMCI in 2016
SLAMCI is also set to launch more new offerings this year. They are going to launch two new dollar-denominated funds that will be added to the existing Sun Life Prosperity Funds. They will also start a regular investment program with partner banks.
Additionally, SLAMCI will also be improving the company’s digital capabilities. They also intend to strengthen their presence in key cities nationwide, hence the press con that was held today at L’Fisher Hotel here in Bacolod City.
Meanwhile, the company also continues its multi-media campaign dubbed “Slam the Scam”, which aims to educate people on the many investment scams out there, how to spot them, and how not to be victimized by them. The campaign shares practical tips in choosing an investment company.
