Negros Occidental is very excited to see the rise of Western Visayas’ first amusement venue: Magikland Silay Theme Park!
The Exciting Magikland Silay Theme Park
The Magikland Silay Theme Park is a world-class theme park that costs P600 million. It is located in Brgy. Guinhalaran, near the downtown area of the Paris of Negros. Obviously, it will soon become an integral part of every Silay City Tour.
People can expect it to open this October 2019, probably in time for the MassKara Festival of Bacolod City.
Trivia: Bakunawa is the name of the Magikland mascot. Remember that.

For sure Magikland will change the course of tourism in Negros Occidental as well as bring vibrant economic activity in the city of Silay.
The park had a trial run to some select guests last July 27 and everything went well. The developer and management assures of safety of all the Magikland rides and attractions. Developments are still ongoing to complete all the attractions by opening date.
So many lives will surely be changed by the Magikland Silay Theme Park, especially because of the new jobs available for the locals. And families who do not really have a budget to travel abroad will be very happy to experience this here.
Magikland Attractions
Here are among the attractions at Magikland Silay Theme Park that will surely get everyone excited:
- the tallest Ferris wheel in the Visayas
- several roller coasters
- carousels
- kiddie and family rides
- thrill rides
- go-karts
- a haunted house
- arcade games
Additionally, Magikland has live performances. There are magic shows on schedule as well as appearances of legendary folk characters.

Magikland Entrance Fees
Below are the entrance fees to experience the newest theme park in the Visayas. Magikland Silay is still on soft opening, therefore, rates are still discounted.
Open only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
- P520.00 – All-In Pass = admission+ magic shows +unli rides
- P280.00 – General = admission + magic shows + carousel ride
- P300.00 – Upgrade = from general to all-in pass

How to Get There
Silay City is about a 20-minute drive north from Bacolod City. Public transportation like jeepneys, buses, and tricycles ply the area. And rest assured that Silay is one of the safest cities in the province.
If you ride a bus or jeep from Bacolod, head to Silay City. Estimated fare is P20-25 per person. Get off at Bangga Carmela, then ride a tricycle going to the theme park. Estimated fare is P10-15 per person.
Meanwhile, Magikland is near the Bacolod-Silay International Airport.
Silay Accommodations
If you are visiting Silay City for days, you may want to consider staying at the Delfin Ledesma Ancestral Home. It’s a heritage house that is now a Silay Airbnb.
