Having Our Moment of Serenitea in Bacolod

One night last week, hubby and I just got away for a short while from the kids in order to indulge in some milk teas at Serenitea. It was our “us” time. Being hands-on parents who are are working at home, sometimes, it is hard to delineate our work from family. In order to find the couple who first started it all in our family, we need to get away and just be together–just the two of us. This date is a nice prelude to our ninth wedding anniversary that is happening next week.

We really did not have much time, as we cannot really stay out late, so an hour of enjoying our milk teas at Serenitea was what we needed. Hubby had a large Lychee Yakult with popping boba sinkers while I had the Hokkaido Milk Tea with popping boba and green tea jelly, both with 50% sugar. I love how you can control what you like at Serenitea–three sizes available, the amount of sugar you want, the many sinkers available, and of course, the many variants of milk tea. The next time we visit, we will surely try the ice cream milk tea. Sounds so yummy already!

Everything is just so nice and cozy at Serenitea, just the break we needed.
