MassKara Festival Schedule and Bacolod City Guide
Jojo Vito the Blogger
He is the man behind the blogs, thehappytrip.com and pinoybizniz.com. He is an avid traveler and foodie in Bacolod, and he keeps tabs of his adventures in his first blog. He wants happy trips, both literally and figuratively, believing that life is too short to be bitter.
For pinoybizniz.com, he features many facets about his business, including tips in running a well-oiled enterprise. He also features his advocacy campaigns there in order to gain mileage for them.
Jojo Vito the Designer
Being an artist is the much-known side of Jojo. He owns the Jojo Vito Designs Gallery that showcases most of his work–from furniture, to lighting fixtures, to masks, wall decors, Bacolod T-shirts, and other small Bacolod pasalubong items.
Many of his works are commissioned and exported. Even his masks have traveled around the world where OFWs celebrate the MassKara Festival in their own way in order to reminisce their culture.
He also creates customized trophies for any and every event. His trophies have been accepted by many grateful hands and hearts all over the country already–from organizations, to private corporations, to the academe.
Some of his works are also on display at the Negros Showroom of the Association of Negros Producers (ANP), located at the Robinsons City Walk, Mandalagan, Bacolod City.
Instraspec Management Consultancy
But there is also another aspect to Jojo Vito. In the academe, he is known as Dr. Jojo Vito because he has a PhD in Business Administration. He doesn’t seem to get tired of studying. Jojo graduated with a degree in Psychology as well as in Business Management.
He also completed the academic requirements for Masters in Public Administration, Masters in Business Administration, and even got 30 units in Masters in Biblical Studies. Recently, he also completed an Advance Leadership Course at Haggai Institute, Chiang Mai Thailand.
Because of his business background, Jojo has long been conducting training and team building activities for companies around the country. Currently, he is senior partner of Intraspec Management Consultancy, a company that he built in 1995 with his then business partner Daisy de Dios. Intraspec is a management consulting firm that specializes on Training and Human Resource Management Consultancy. On their 20th year this year, he celebrated with a band at the Metro Inn Bacolod with no less than Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte as his guest of honor.
INTRASPEC stands for IN-Integrity, TRA-Training, and SPEC-specialist–inspired from Isaiah 61:3b- “and they shall be called oaks of integrity (righteousness) planted by the Lord to show his glory. This bible verse has been the anchor of all the training programs offered by INTRASPEC, especially on courses like Values Formation, Team Building, Leadership, and many other.
Jojo Vito the Friend
But while he wears many hats and is known by many names to many people, for us, he is our fellow blogger and friend who always loves a laugh trip. There is never a dull moment with him around and even my children adore him. He is always either experiencing a clammy time when food is served late and he is always found with snacks with him. He is such a happy and funny soul but who has friends in high places but always keeps a humble disposition. No wonder he is so successful in his endeavors. More power to you! 😀
Note: Jojo Vito Designs Gallery is located at Kapitana Dicang-Alunan Avenue Sts. (behind Metrodome Bldg. at Araneta St.) They are open from Monday to Saturday, 8:30am-5pm.
